Review
Rise of the Argonauts is a mixture of an action and an RPG game. Usually, such a mix would present elements of both genres. So, you would be given a character which you have to improve by defeating enemies and purchasing items, and who fights with everyone in fast-action scenes. Well, in my opinion, Rise of the Argonauts tried to accomplish that, but ended up releasing a yawn-inducing game instead. I mean, the graphics are great, the controls don't really disappoint much and the action scenes are great. But, playing this game will require a lot of your time. Not because it is a long game with a lot of gameplay, but because you spend more time talking and looking for things than you actually do trying to kill the man who killed your fiance on your wedding day. I wouldn't be talking with anyone. I would go straight to his hiding place and take some good old revenge. Now, if this game could be played straight doing without half of the dialogues, I would be somewhat interested in finishing it and see if I can get that revenge. |
- Great graphics.
- Action scenes are fun.

- Action scenes are not plenty.
- Slow game pace.
- Lots of dialogue.
